Established Auto Collision Shop currently seeking an experienced Auto Estimator to join our team.
This is a full-time position
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine repair costs.
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates/supplements for automotive repairs, including parts, labor, and additional services (Using the CCC ONE software and Mitchell).
- Communicate with insurance adjusters to explain estimates and negotiate repairs. Appraiser must handle all communications with insurance adjusters throughout the entire repair process including ordering and receiving of parts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience (1-3 years preferably) in auto estimating and negotiating with insurance companies.
- Familiarity with auto body repair processes and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex repair information.
- Appraisal License (preferred but not required).
- I-CAR training or other industry training (preferred but not required).
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
