Seeking energetic self-motivated individual for Purchasing Assistant/Warehouse Person for broadline wholesale food distributor located in southern New Jersey.
This position is focused on sourcing, evaluating, negotiating best cost for purchasing products. Need to input, review and confirm purchase orders and delivery times with vendors and warehouse personnel as well as working closely with customers to input their orders and following up with backorders.
This position will include light warehouse duties such as rotating products, inventory control, checking in products from vendors and making sure inventory levels are managed according to system forecast.
This is a full time position. Must work Saturdays until 2pm.
