Assistant Property Manager
What we’re looking for
We are a new and growing vacation rental management company at the Jersey Shore, looking for a part-time Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a motivated, self-starter with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
The Assistant Property Manager will act as the eyes and ears for our vacation rentals while assisting in the needs of each home. You will spend your days traveling between our homes, inspecting properties for readiness, conducting basic tasks at our homes and responding to guest requests and/or concerns.
Attention to detail and ability to utilize technology is required along with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, & reliable vehicle.

What you’ll do
Expect the unexpected, no day is the same and it will be spent traveling between properties, performing basic tasks in our homes. Flexibility and adaptability is a must
Work as part of our operation team to support the day to day, and come to the rescue of any team member in need
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the eyes and ears for our properties
Follow checklists with a fine attention to detail to ensure that each property meets our standards and is guest-ready both inside and out
Drop off needed supplies to replenish inventory
Pick up or deliver linens to properties as needed for turnovers
Assist cleaning team with necessary preparations
Remove trash from homes and return empty garbage cans
Clean grills and swap empty propane tanks
Basic trouble-shooting such as resetting cable/wifi, or operating a television remote
Report when something needs to be fixed, repaired or replaced
Bring items to guests during their stay
Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Copies of license, car registration, and proof of insurance will be required upon hire
Personal knowledge of the communities in which our homes are located
Proficient with new technology, specifically mobile apps
Fine attention to detail
Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside
Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
Weekend availability is strongly preferred

DETAILS
This position is offered as a part-time role with an expectation of 8-40 hours of work per week, and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience and mileage reimbursement.
As a W-2 employee on an hourly basis, you will be compensated for all hours worked. While this role does not qualify for overtime under normal circumstances due to the part-time status, it adheres to all applicable federal and state labor laws regarding employment.
