Well established chocolate company hiring for pastry/chocolate assistant to Master Chocolatier. Daily tasks include:
Basic understanding of kitchen prep, scaling, batching and understand FIFO rotation
Should be well-organized / detail driven
Should be able to time-manage and work efficiently
Demonstrate passion for chocolate and confections (hobbies, classes, or related experience)
Strong manual dexterity and attention to fine detail
Ability to follow precise recipes and standard operating procedures
Comfortable working in a cool, humid controlled environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to learn and take direction in a mentorship environment
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Possibly some weekends. Ages 21 & over a must. Must be computer literate and have a cell phone. Please email your resume / work history as detailed as possible. References a plus.
