Alphabets Preschool Center is seeking a qualified applicant to assume the role of Preschool Teacher.
P-3 TEACHING CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED
Alphabets Preschool Center is a Community Provider for the Asbury for the Asbury Park School District.
It is important that all applicants are familiar with New Jersey DOE guidelines and New Jersey teaching standards for preschool.
Alphabets Preschool Center has successfully offered a nontraditional setting with open space classrooms and innovative practices for the last 40 years. Alphabets has received many awards and recognition over these years earned by our high-quality programs and practices.
The perfect candidate to join our team is a professional who is guided by knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for preschool children ages 3 through 5 and is a grounded, positive, and creative team player.
Qualifications:
- P-3 Teaching Certificate is REQUIRED
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is a plus
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Classroom Management and Assessment, and able to plan for both a 3-4 year old classroom and a 4-5 year old classroom
- Experience working with preschool students
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with staff, administration, and families
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing

Salary:
- 10-month salary commensurate with the Asbury Park School District Teacher Salary Scales; $61,485
- Additional hourly pay during summer hours
