Title: Marketing Tech Functional Specialist

Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Summary :This position is contract to hire based in Jersey City, NJ. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.This position is responsible for providing strategy, requirements and execution guidance for key campaigns and communications that require email and messaging capabilities. The selected candidate will also be responsible for formalizing the user forum, compiling business playbooks, and training business teams to fully leverage the marketing automation capabilities. This position will work closely with marketing communications team members, marketing technology team members and key business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Our ideal candidate is often recognized for his/her digital marketing and marketing automation capabilities, capable of analytical insights and abilities, has exceptional organization capability who can juggle multiple business needs simultaneously and is a highly effective communicator/facilitator.This position reports to the Assistant Vice President, Marketing Automation Platform in Technology. A solid foundation in property and casualty insurance or financial services is preferred but not required. Candidates invited to interview should be prepared to share a portfolio of past work to demonstrate relatable experience.

Specific Responsibilities:Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Managing all aspects of marketing automation platform's functional capability by providing strategic direction, promoting, and driving adoption of best practices• Managing global support for email marketing initiatives, including contact management, the development of templates for use with external promotions, events, newsletters, internal communications, and service notifications.• Strategizing with the business teams to implement journeys and reporting to drive conversion events• Champion privacy and security practices for the platform by ensuring that data extensions are established for all new use cases• Lead requirements gathering for marketing automation needs from business users and for platform migration• Managing use and expansion of marketing automation tools through use case playbooks, training, and adoption sessions with business users. Coordinating the development, execution, and promotion of marketing automation training• Developing and maintaining regular audit processes to ensure data integrity of the platform• Working closely with respective channel team to coordinate the development and execution of capabilities in support of marketing campaigns or communications• Leveraging analytics to continuously measure the effectiveness of marketing automation campaigns, providing thought leadership and learnings with internal stakeholders• Upholding exceptional standards for quality production and service, remaining accountable for meeting deadlines, and keeping stakeholders informed on the progress of projects

QualificationsExperience and Skill Requirements:• Bachelor's degree required, Marketing or Technology major preferred• 5+ years of experience in marketing automation technology; proficiency in coding and programming applications in HTML (specifically for building emails and email templates), CSS, Java Script, AmpScript• Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Module and Power BI• Demonstrable experience with email marketing campaigns as an integral part of the overall marketing or communications strategy• Strong organizational or project management skills, with the ability to deliver multiple deliverables simultaneously and a focus on establishing and meeting deadlines• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills• Flexible, creative, and collaborative; demonstrates accountability and is results oriented• Proactive and solution-driven work ethic• Persistent and objective in tackling complex issues• Continuously listens, learns, and adapts; is receptive to feedback• Strong influence and excellent collaboration skills• Skilled in working with communications and general software platforms, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
