Genesis10 is currently seeking a Database Administrator with our client in the financial industry in their Jersey City, NJ location. This is a 12 month + contract position. Description:
  • MySQL Database Operations team provides System DBA services to the Enterprise across all the CTOs
  • It provides end-to-end Critical Production support and takes care of the MySQL Server infrastructure
  • The team handles the event, incident, change, and problem management functions for the MySQL Server database infrastructure across the Enterprise
  • The MySQL Server build and configuration activities are also performed by the MySQL Operations team along with the Performance and Compliance functions
  • Thorough understanding of InnoDB clustering and MySQL replication

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of InnoDB clustering and MySQL replication
  • High availability implementation
  • Scripting and SQL skills
  • Knowledge of OEM/MEM /Fog light monitoring
  • 5-7 years of experience in MySQL Database
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
