Job Description:
This position will be primarily responsible for the designing, planning and execution of SAN migrations for the Americas. This position will interact with other technical storage personnel, offshore engineers and coordinators, and will also take lead in setting up and running meetings with the client/application leads to thoroughly develop plans to migrate to new storage, ensuring that all details of the migration are covered. This position requires off-hour and weekend work since those are the times that production systems are available. Required Skills- 5+ years in leading SAN migrations or project management
- 3+ years in Storage technology
- Knowledge of SAN technology and migrations, project management, time management, personal/client skills, networks (fabric and IP based)
- Storage fundamentals - SAN, NAS, CAS, storage migration experience, Dell/EMC storage platforms
- 5+ years in leading SAN migrations or project management
