Responsibilities: Assisting the implementation of SAP SM/CS and PM solutions in Utility industry SAP ABAP/4 development related to Service Notifications, Work Orders, and related master data Work on the interface between the Outage Management System and SAP Trigger outbound interface from SAP to OMS based on the status of notifications and orders Create Inbound interfaces into SAP for updating notification status, create work orders, complete notifications, and orders, etc. Work on Enhancements/user exits in service notifications and work orders Analyzing and understanding existing SM/PM integration with external systems, gathering requirements and redesigning integration with new external systems that will replace current systems Prepare design documents, process flows, functional specifications and testing documentation. Additional details:
- Most of the work is around interface between the Outage Management System and SAP.
- Primarily related to service notifications and orders as the objects that integrate the systems.
- Need to be familiar with triggering outbound interface from SAP to OMS based on status of notifications and orders
- Inbound interface into SAP for updating notification status, create work orders, complete notifications and orders, etc.
- Enhancements/user exits in service notifications and work orders
