DescriptionThe North American Surface Transportation (NAST) ACES Benchmarking team is seeking to hire a Program Manager to support the Amazon Transportation Operations Management (TOM) organization. This candidate will drive large-scale metric improvement through benchmarking methodologies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team in a rapidly growing area within Amazon. Our mission is to show our customers what “best-in-class” looks like and help them get there.The Benchmarking PM will communicate with Operations, ACES, Finance, and Technology (Tech) stakeholders, while working independently. They will work across leadership, exercising sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist.Key job responsibilities

Develop, implement and govern key performance indicators (KPI) for the portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects

Manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills

Gather and analyze data across business functions to establish standards for project management status reporting and tracking

Support a fast paced environment that deploys multiple projects, programs, and initiatives simultaneously

Lead in the process to develop, adjust, improve, and implement standard work at the network level

Travel domestically up to 50%

A day in the lifeNAST Benchmarking PMs collaborate with stakeholders, analyze network performance, identify project /tech/process opportunities and drive holistic performance improvement. These PMs must be comfortable working in ambiguous environments to drive performance improvement from program and operations teams.Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

3+ years of program or project management experience

3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

Experience of Six Sigma/ Lean analytical techniques

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

3+ years of driving process improvements experience

Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
