Responsibilities: • OCI infra administration (Install, configure, migrations, tuning, patching, administration & monitoring).• Ensure the effective daily operation of the production / database applications and provides administrative support for new implementations, upgrades, and migrations• Effective collaboration with infrastructure teams, application development teams, testing and release teams• Identify and quickly escalate potential issues with solution design, packaged software, client resources, or anything else that impacts your ability to deliver according to expectations Required Knowledge & skills: • A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Infrastructure installation, configuration and support of OCI administration.• Experience in gathering requirements from customers on provisioning environments in OCI.• Hands on Experience with provisioning storage, compute nodes, network. and understanding requirements for the same.• Understanding and hands on experience of HA architecture in an OCI environment.• Understanding of OS concepts and Linux administration• Understanding of virtualization concepts is an added advantage.• Knowledge of monitoring tools like OEM/OMC is an added advantage.• Team player with strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
