This position plays a pivotal role overseeing the day-to-day operations of Tradeweb’s network infrastructure, collaborating with the team to resolve incidents, deploying network infrastructure changes and managing a small team of contractor resources. This role requires a strong technical background in network engineering coupled with effective communication and leadership skills.Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.Job Responsibilities

Participate in configuration, operational support and troubleshooting of Tradeweb’s corporate and production network infrastructure and services, including third party connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, Wi-Fi, VPN devices and routing protocols

Expert-level routing and switching experience (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Multicast), including the ability to understand complex, multi-tenant environments with multiple business units

Work with external dealers and internal application support teams to troubleshoot and maintain/setup Dealer connectivity

Strong knowledge of firewall configuration, provisioning rule changes and troubleshooting

Strong knowledge of F5 load balancers

Experience utilizing network automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, YAML-playbooks and Python

Familiarity enabling network connectivity with multiple cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Equinix Cloud Exchange and Oracle

Work with and directly lead external vendors, third parties, and associated agencies to address issues with the PSTN, peering arrangements and inter-operability issues

Deploy and stabilize network device operating systems and configurations; drive device standardization and automation

Provide subject matter expertise, resolve complex break/fix scenarios, engaging broader teams as necessary; partner with vendors, and regions to achieve continuous improvements

Develop effective Operations metrics and SLAs and utilize data to drive automation opportunities and further enhancements with Network Operations’ service offerings

Qualifications

7-10 years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure and Operations disciplines

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic engineering, or related disciplines

Relevant certifications, including CCNP, Checkpoint and Palo and AWS are a plus

Deep understanding of the TCP/IP protocol family

Understanding of data communication, data processing, and telecommunications facilities

Excellent analytical, organizational, process improvement and problem-solving skills

Able to multi-task and work under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $100,000 to $250,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
