We have an opportunity to impact your career and provide an adventure where you can push the limits of what's possible.As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer & Community Banking Data Technology, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.Job responsibilities

Participates in, design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Python to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems

Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development

Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems

Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture

Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, Cloud Developer, or related occupation.

Strong experience in developing enterprise software and proficiency in multiple technologies, preferably AWS, Hadoop, and Python

Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.

Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods

Proficiency with ETL

Demonstrated proficiency in software applications, big data platform, and technical processes within a data technology and management.

Creates Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform / Ansible

In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems

Strong experience in developing enterprise applications using Python.

Nice to have additional capabilities and skills

Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS EKS

Proficiency in setting up alerting and monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace

Experience in CI/CD pipeline preferably Jenkins & Spinnaker and Version Control tools (BitBucket, GIT)

Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a public cloud environment

Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
