- 5+ years of experience delivering Kafka integrated applications
- Modern event driven application experience using Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka & Kafka Streams as the primary tech stack
- Producer / consumer configurations, and stream processing optimization based on key performance metrics
- Demonstrated knowledge of Kafka messaging and stream architecture as it relates to latency, throughput, scale
- 5+ years of experience generating and processing Kafka streams, handling deduplication of messages and streams, and idempotent processing
- 5+ years of experience in architecture of data serialization formats, schemas and schema registries
- Location: NYC Metro area preferred possibility of East Coast remote.
- Experience in the financial industry.
- Articulate and collaborative in fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or master's degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field
