W2 Role Title: Data Engineer Location: Jersey city, NJ Hire Type: Contract Job Description: Technologies: SCALA, SPARK, KAFKA, PYTHON, JAVA – Data Engineering • 7 Years of software development experience and at least 3-4 years of experience in Hadoop, Spark with Java/Python, SQL with ETL knowledge. • Must have experience in Spark with Scala and python and/or Java. • Must have experience in building data pipelines and transformations using Kafka, REST APIs. • Experience in handling huge volume of batch and/or event driven data . • Should be Hands-on developer work independently on assigned tasks. • Experience in CI/CD and DevOps process. • Nice to have knowledge and experience in Public/Private cloud and Data Science areas. • Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills. • Excellent communication skills.
