Start Data Specialist I

Description Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is searching for a Start Data Specialist I to join our team!This role will conduct basic research for various territories, working through data sources to collect information for construction projects. The primary responsibility is to meticulously gather essential data and enter key data into Dodge's Data Platform to create or update Dodge Reports.This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Manager, Start Team.Preferred Location and Expected Work HoursThis is a remote, home-office role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered. There is a preference to hire in the Central time zone.Must have the ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 Central time zone.Travel RequirementsExpected travel is 5% for this role. Essential Functions Gain a working knowledge of the construction industry and key playersGain expertise in specific data sources and knowledge in all the Forecasting productsResearch, collect, verify, and maintain project data through various means, including outbound phone calls, emails, and digital research with guidance from managerEnsure timely, accurate, and comprehensive data entry for all assigned projects to update Dodge Reports on the Dodge platformMaximize project coverage by conducting basic research and basic report sequencingComplete formal documentation required to support data collection processesMaintain accountability for performance metrics, ensuring accurate, punctual, and thorough data collectionOversee the execution of cross functional data acquisition projects within the assigned territory, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelineAbility to meet performance metricsEducation RequirementHigh School Diploma or GEDRequired Experience, Knowledge and Skills 6 months of outbound call experienceData entry experienceProficient in all Microsoft areasExceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communicationExcellent reading comprehensionExcellent internet research skillsAble to work effectively in an independent, remote environmentComfortable working in a fast-paced role/production driven environmentStrong typing skillsCritical thinker and problem solverPreferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills Online research experienceExperience in the construction industryAbout Dodge Construction Network Dodge Construction Network exists to deliver the comprehensive data and connections the construction industry needs to build thriving communities. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors.
