Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative. Performs formal and informal instruction when necessary, particularly to students. Maintain a high level of continuing education. Participate in "call".Qualifications:Required:
High School Graduate
Completion of an approved Ultrasound program that meets the requirements set by the RDMS
0-1 years of experience as a staff technologist
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Must be certified by the RDMS or eligible to become certified within six months of employment
Scheduling Requirements:
Day shift with nights and weekends coverage
Per Diem
Essential Functions:
Perform General and Vascular Ultrasound
Explains all procedures to patients
Assist Radiologists and Surgeons, as needed
Review charts, scripts and referrals and orders with all correct pertinent information
Order supplies, as needed
Run s Open orders and Charges out incomplete exams daily
