Ranbuild has been supplying sheds, garages and steel buildings for over 70 years, specialising in the commercial, residential, rural and equine markets.Ranbuild is a market leader in cold rolled, pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) and joining us as a Draftsperson means working on a diverse range of projects with customers across Australia. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and ownership.What Will You Do?Providing technical guidance to our product development and order fulfilment teams, you will grow to be a recognised subject matter expert in our building market sector. Preparing and inspecting manufacturing drawings across our extensive product range, supporting both daily project execution and continuous improvement initiatives. You will:produce a wide range of technical drawings as per product specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and documentation requirementsinterpret architectural and engineering plans to accurately capture design intent and support fabricationliaise with internal stakeholders, including engineers, sales, and estimators, to resolve drawing or specification issues and ensure timely delivery of projectsprovide quoting, detailing, Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, and recommend improvements to existing designs and installation processesconduct quality assurance checks, maintain version control, and support the integrity of our document management systemsbe involved in end-to-end drafting for diverse projects, applying your skills to develop practical and effective design solutionsMore About YouWe are looking for someone who brings both technical capability and a collaborative mindset.
