Clinical Holter Technician

Cardiac Holter Technician, Hamilton, New JerseyThe Clinical Holter Technician will obtain the knowledge and skills required to analyze and process cardiac rhythms on the Holter scanning software through training courses including basic rhythm interpretation and software used to manage and document findings.Your role:

Performing analysis of ECG data from the Holter monitor to create a report for the physician’s office.

Analyzing information in the patient’s diary to identify incidents that correspond to health pattern irregularities detected on the Holter monitor.

Identifying irregularities in the patient’s cardiac rhythm and utilize knowledge of cardiac rhythms to verify the data that is provided by the Holter scanning software.

Evaluating Holter scan for Physician Notification Criteria.

Notifying Quality Assurance staff once the scan is complete to allow for the report to be quality checked and posted.

Meeting performance productivity standards as noted in the ramp up process once initial training is completed.

You're the right fit if:

High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required

CRAT/CCT certification within 180 days of employment/transfer

Proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); comfortable using telephone and computer to perform job responsibilities

6+ months experience in a clinical setting involving ECG/EKG monitoring and/or interpretation and analysis (preferred)

Comfortable with a training schedule of Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm EST for 9 weeks

Comfortable with a work schedule of Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00pm EST

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
