Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Diabetes Nurse Practitioner in Hackettstown, New Jersey Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Diabetes Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support Endocrine Services. The NP will support both outpatient services in Hackettstown, as well as inpatient services at Hackettstown Medical Center. As a Diabetes NP, you will have a crucial role in delivering specialized diabetes care to adult patients aged 18 and above. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive diabetes care to patients, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, educate, and support patients in self-management of their conditions, and contribute to the growth and advancement of the Endocrine program through active participation in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications

Graduated from accredited NP program

Master’s degree required

Certified Diabetes Counselor Education Specialist (CDCES), or ability to obtain a certification within 1 year of hire

ACLS and BLS certification required

1-2 years of Endocrinology experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Must have excellent communication and computer skills

Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
