We work in partnership with our clients to create engaging spaces which deliver relaxed and stylish dining environments that become the heart of their workplace.The Good Eating Company is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Vice President, Growth and Operations to support and grow our business in the greater Manhattan area. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President.This is a virtual role with frequent travel to visit potential and existing clients in the greater Manhattan New York City area and candidates must reside within the greater New York City area. Also requires 20% travel to clients located in Boston and Washington DC.In this Vice President of Operations and Growth role, you will be focused on tapping into your existing network of contacts in the food industry in the New York City Metropolitan area to call upon with the business development team to leverage the new food transformation models to continue to grow the portfolio.As a strong, dynamic passionate leader of food & hospitality you will also be responsible for supporting and retaining existing accounts. You will manage 2 District Manager with approximately 10 accountsand have responsibility for all financials across the greater Manhattan area, Boston, and Washington DC.You must adapt to changes in the marketplace, new food strategies and offers and represent our brand as the local Executive in the marketplace. You are the local executive who must possess exceptional client relationship skills, strong negotiation abilities, provide leadership, talent development skills and exceptional presentation skills.The successful candidate will:Have strong analytical capabilities and the ability to drive insights and then drive action from those insights. A bias towards action and speed of execution. Enjoys taking ownership to find solutions to diverse challenges, thinks creatively, possesses the confidence to have an opinion (while staying open to others’) and thrives under scrutiny and time-bound targets.How you’ll make an impact:

The VP is required to be growth-oriented and be dynamic to meet up with the pace of competitors and overtake them towards re-positioning the organization at the apex in their preferred niche.

The VP is a seasoned leader and proven manager with significant experience in growing a small business with expertise in strategic planning, marketing, business development, budgeting, and resource management.

Developing and executing growth strategies. Create effective growth strategies, including user acquisition, customer retention, and monetization. Must also be able to execute those strategies and implement them correctly.

Analyzing data. Be able to analyze data to make informed decisions about the company's growth. This includes analyzing customer behavior, market trends, and other data that could provide insight into the company's performance.

Collaborating with teams. Be able to work closely with all teams to ensure their growth strategy is implemented and optimized for success. This includes working closely with product, marketing, sales, operations, and customer service teams.

Identifying market opportunities. Identify potential markets for the company's products and services and analyze customer behavior to capitalize on those opportunities.

Managing budgets. Manage budgets to ensure that the company's growth is as efficient as possible. Need to be able to identify high-value investments and allocate resources accordingly.

Managing the growth team. Able to handle the growth team and ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal. This includes hiring, training, and managing the group to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Develop data-driven insights that can drive short and long- term strategies for growth.

We are looking for candidates who:

Have 10 years experience in the restaurant sector.

An established network of contacts in the food industry in the New York City metropolitan area.

Strong strategic and client-centric background.

Have a strong P&L background.

Have experience managing multiple locations or business segments.

Can motivate other leaders and drive team performance.

Can build and foster relationships across the organization internally to ensure additional market growth and the promotion of comprehensive solutions offerings to clients – this includes collaborating with senior leaders and Business Development to grow Good Eating Companies’ business in the assigned market.

Can develop exceptional client relations and ensure the facility’s product offerings/solutions align with client needs.

Drive solutions that optimize the current business portfolio.

Develop and execute a strategy to accelerate business growth throughout the region.

Play a key role and enthusiastically supports the succession planning and development of key personnel within area of responsibility.

Can ensure the organization’s brand reputation; and/or lead and motivate the management team, inspiring strategic direction; secure and/or deploy resources; cultivate relationships with clients and other teams within The Good Eating Company; ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments; sustain client satisfaction and retention; and maintain strong employee relations.
