Description Robert Half is actively seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an integral part of a high performing team at a growing company in the Wholesale Distribution industry. A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Proficiency in managing department mail, including opening, sorting, and distributing it daily
Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents
Experience in performing full-cycle A/P and verifying, logging, and sending checks
Ability to complete administrative tasks and support the AP/Finance Department as assigned
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
Customer service skills to manage tasks for internal business partners
Familiarity with facilitating internal and external audits as needed
Knowledge of processes and controls to carry out daily tasks accurately and on time
Requirements - 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
High attention to detail
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
