Description Robert Half is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Accountant. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Accountant to join their finance team. The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining precise financial records.
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for assigned clients.
Calculate and process payroll accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll and taxation.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding payroll-related inquiries.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary payroll information and resolve any issues promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
Generate reports as needed for clients and internal purposes.
Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and reporting requirements.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and address any concerns or questions related to payroll processing.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant or in a similar role.
Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
