J ob Overview:As an Events MarketingSpecialistyou’llbe the driving force behind oureventsuccess, from conception to execution and beyond.You'llbe responsible forcrafting compelling marketing strategies, building buzz, and ensuring our events leavea lasting impressionon attendees.Your Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for a variety of events, including tradeshows, vendor and customer appreciation events, sales roundtables, internal events, and more to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and engagement, including driving associate social media activity around events.
Serve as the primary contact for the organization’s affiliation with Community Associations Institute’s (CAI) various chapters, managing sponsorship levels, and coordinating company’s involvement innumerousindustry associations; includes tradeshows, networking, speaking opportunities, sponsorships, and more.
Bring a fresh perspective to and manage eventlogisticsby:overseeing vendor relations, organizing event/office inventory, proactive internal alignment, driving meetings/presentations, handling event swag shipments/mailings, and more.
Present effectively in meetings to ensure excellent alignment.
Oversee event registration and ticketing, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
Local event coordination, including prospect roundtables, seminars, grassroot events, etc.
Stayup-to-dateon industry trends and best practices in event marketing.
Collaborate effectively and autonomously with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism,Advertisingor related business field
2+years experiencein event marketing, brand marketing, agency, or communications environment with a proventrack recordof success.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Ability to implement andmonitorprogress for successful effectiveness of campaigns; working well under pressure and deadlines
Excellent problem solver;demonstratesability to use creative alternatives
Results driven and highly motivated self-starter
