Job Title: Automation EngineerJob Description

The person will conceive, develop, and carry out projects that will automate, improve quality, reduce operating costs, increase yield and reduce downtime.

You will design new high-speed equipment and machinery as conceived to support the in-house needs of both production and process engineering.

You will conceptualize, source, evaluate, qualify, test, and install purchased equipment.

You will leverage Continuous Improvement mindset, tools, and processes to modify and/or integrate existing equipment to improve efficiency and output in a manner consistent with the business needs.

You will be responsible for introducing innovative new assembly technologies into the manufacturing process.

You will test and debug automated manufacturing solutions. You will monitor and troubleshoot automated manufacturing systems.

Hard Skills

PLC and communication and electrical troubleshooting knowledge

Ability to program PLC's from scratch

Read logic

Job TypeThis is a permanent position.Work EnvironmentThere are 100 people onsite in Eatontown. This role would report to the maintenance manager so will be out on the floor most of the day working with mechanics & engineers.
