Controller

Description We are seeking a Controller to join our client's team located in the East Windsor, New Jersey area. As a Controller, you will be overseeing an internal accounting team and managing the General Ledger for multiple distribution locations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide support for inventory accounting and month end close.Responsibilities: Oversee internal accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency Manage the General Ledger for multiple distribution locations Provide support for inventory accounting to ensure proper documentation and tracking Conduct month end close activities in a timely and efficient manner Interact with senior leadership, providing updates and reports as needed Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial data Handle wholesale accounting tasks, using strong knowledge of the field Ensure visibility and transparency in all accounting processes Use a solid understanding of inventory to manage and control stock Show confidence in managing and executing all assigned responsibilities.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.) Knowledge of MS Office, with expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel Understanding of data analysis and forecasting Working knowledge of financial software applications Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to adhere to all company policies and regulations Strong problem-solving skills Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
