Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in the retail industry in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This role will be in a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility and a balance between working from office and home.Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Keep customer credit records up-to-date and precise Adequately handle customer inquiries and provide resolutions Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions Utilize accounting software systems effectively Perform various accounting functions, including accrual accounting Manage accounts payable activities Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy Process Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions Use Concur and ERP for enterprise resource planning and account coding. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding Experience with Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Skilled in using Concur Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Knowledge of various Accounting Functions Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) Proficiency in Accrual Accounting Experience in Auditing Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
