As aServerat The Office Tavern Grill in East Hanover, NJ, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by providing attentive service and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and hospitality. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner upon arrival.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
Anticipate guests' needs and ensure their satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with tact and professionalism.
Upsell menu items and promote special promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
