This is a leadership role with regular interaction with plant quality, food safety, procurement, R&D and other cross functional teams.How you will contributeThe Corporate Supplier Quality Specialist is responsible for leadership in the areas of supplier quality strategic direction, capability building of suppliers, and to collaborate with cross-functional partners such as procurement and R&D to promote assurance of the execution of supplier quality policies and programs.This position has regional responsibility which requires experience in prior quality roles such as Plant Quality, BU Quality, Audit, Food Safety or R&D with experience engaging with suppliers and understanding of Quality & Business Systems and the ability to influence stakeholders.What you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Delivering risk-based supplier quality programs to support commercial outcomes within fast moving consumer goods environment. Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, raw materials, and Ingredient specifications. Collaborating to complete the agenda by working effectively across functions, geographies, and with internal and external partners. Relentless curiosity and a continuous improvement mentality. Building an internal network that allows for effective communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement. Digital Savvy with analytical skills, SAP QM, and Power BI experience. Strength in CAPA Processes and Systems Familiarity with FDA, FSMA, and Canadian food regulationsMore about this roleWhat you need to know about this position: Co-Leads development of training materials and execute training for internal and external partners based on the capability building needs. Participates in risk assessment activity related to supplier spend areas, partnering with procurement and other cross-functional partners, following up on progress, and proactively assisting in issue resolution and elimination to assure that established company quality standards are consistently met with a key focus on Food Safety programs. Performs technical or audit prep visits and confirms gap closures to ensure higher (%) compliance rate against the supplier quality expectations (SQE). Supports the Material Monitoring Program (MMP) for the region. Works to continually improve performance against key supplier quality measures by proactively leading the program initiatives required to sustainably resolve identified Quality & Food Safety Risks (QNs and QCMS CAPAs). Continuously improve supplier quality related knowledge, skills and understanding of Internal and external personnel executing MDLZ requirements by conducting training programs and systematically disseminating written information covering standards, procedures, and policies to assure employees are equipped to meet required standards. Monitoring and reporting of key quality metrics and supporting Global Supplier Quality Initiatives. Support the SSMT coordinators on issue management and special situations.Education / Certifications:B.S./M.S. in a related scientific disciplineJob specific requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of related experience (Quality, Food Safety, Operations, RD) with demonstrated technical and leadership ability. Excellent leadership capabilities with strong abilities and the capacity to influence and drive change in a cross-functional environment.
