Your days off are available for hiking, adventuring, fishing, and skiing in winter.As the result of an internal promotion we are looking for an experienced professional to provide financial accounting and taxation services to the New Zealand Operations. Key responsibilities:Deliver the financial accounting requirements for the Macraes & Waihi operations, including the preparation of the statutory financial consolidation package for submission to Head Office.Ensure tax compliance requirements, including tax provisioning calculations are accurate, liaising with the IRD.Work closely with auditors, ensuring that all queries are dealt with of escalated accordingly.Calculate crown royalty calculations and manage returns where applicable for gold shipments.Maintain databases and models pertaining to financial reporting including asset registers, Pronto database and General Ledger.Prepare/ Finalise the consolidated statutory financial statements for the New Zealand Group.Overseeing the transaction finance requirements, such as accounts payable.Work towards continuous improvement of financial accounting processes.
