Lourdes Hospital and Community Health Service (Lourdes) is a third schedule, not-for-profit teaching hospital funded by NSW Ministry of Health and Managed by Catholic Healthcare. Lourdes has a long history of providing excellent care to the Dubbo and greater region. An opportunity currently exists for an Occupational Therapist Level 1/2 to join our dedicated team on a Temporary Full-Time basis.
Selection Criteria:Essential- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an Occupational Therapist.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which include a demonstrated ability to complete sensitive and responsive interactions with co-workers and patients/clients.
- Demonstrated time management skills that include the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks and judge priorities appropriately.
- Understanding of the need for evidence informed, client centred occupational therapy services.
- Understanding of the need to assess and monitor systems and services to ensure high quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with skills in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, internet and literature search engines.
- Current NSW Health Vaccination Status - Category A.
- Current Working with Children Check
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Current Drivers licence.
- Previous experience and demonstrated positive interactions working or participating in a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to own professional development and learning, evidenced by identification of learning/education goals and objectives.
- Additional education or study in any area relevant to the services provided by the Lourdes Occupational Therapy Department.
