Sr. Accountant

Description Our client located in the Holmdel area is currently searching for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This position will include oversight of the accounting operations teams, with financial analysis and true senior accountant responsibilities. Regularly make journal entries into the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with the FP& A Team on cross-functional projects and tasks. Perform account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. Ensure a smooth month-end close process, addressing any issues promptly. Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions and inquiries.Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. Demonstrable experience with general ledger management and journal entries. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with month-end close procedures. Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Experience with QuickBooks. Demonstrable senior-level accounting experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
