The job holder is responsible to accurately process all the shipments in timely manner under the guidance of Officer.
Must ensure tall relevant information has been received from the officer to process a file and remind officer in case any information is missed.
Must timely prepare all relevant documents and forward the same for officer’s review.
Major responsibilities include but not limited to:\ below:
Request Booking from Shipping/Airlines
Coordinate with Truckers for timely loading/delivery of shipments to Airports/Ports/Rail Ramps.
Coordinate with Shippers to obtain all documents for Customs Filing/Shipping Instructions for BL/AWB
Timely submit AWB/BL instructions to Air/Shipping Lines
Regularly track and update Customers about status of their shipments.
Ensure all shipping documents are properly filed in relevant shipment folders
Ensure sending all required detail to Accounting to generate invoice once a shipment has departed.
