THIS IS A TRAVELING JOB/CAMPAIGN . We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus or Truck Driver to join our team and travel for this campaign. The ideal candidate will be committed to being a safe and reliable Driver. The company is based in NJ and you would interview and be trained locally. The Company has jobs both locally and out of state. You would have to be able to temporarily stay in Hotel or AirBnb for weeks at a time for the specific campaign we are running. You would be driving a billboard advertising truck approx 22ft long and 12'6 high slowly around the market on certain routes for 8 hrs per day. Slower the better. Perfect position for a retired Bus or Truck driver that would like to work locally in a calm, relaxing evironment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Truck ensuring the safety and comfort of all other pedestrians and Vehicles during the Route- Adhere to scheduled routes and maintain punctuality while being flexible to accommodate unexpected changes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with Dispatch and taking great photos.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any issues.
- Document daily activities, including mileage, route, and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
Experience
- Previous experience as a bus driver or truck driver in a similar sized vehicle is preferred.
- Familiarity with driving buses, trucks or larger vehicles is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills
