REQUIREMENTS:
Strong Diagnostics skills for Foreign and Domestic vehicles
Must be Energetic, Self-Motivated, a Team Leader, Organized, Neat, Reliable
Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Must have own tools
DUTIES:
Supervising / scheduling other mechanics work. Completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation, replacing filters, listening to operator issues; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.
Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree a plus.
ASE Certifications a definite plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience with vehicle repairs.
Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, welders, diagnostic equipment, etc.
May require experience in leading other, less qualified, technicians in vehicle repairs.
