Forge Signworks – located in Farmingdale, New Jersey, is a full service custom sign company for over 85 years. Forge provides custom signage/graphics to casino and retail facilities throughout the United States.
Position: Full Time – Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm or 6am – 2:30pm / Overtime as required – Potential to work 2nd shift should we shift to it in the future.
Skills required:
3-5 Years minimum experience with industrial and automotive painting.
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, organizing and painting signage projects to ensure that we complete finishes on-time. You will be required to suit & mask up to spray paint signs with a spray gun in a booth, as well as some masking, mixing paints, and possible prep to assist in getting signs completed.
Job duties include but not limited to:
Prep, stage and paint jobs on various sign projects.
Must wear protective suit and respirator while spraying.
Act as a quality control checkpoint to be sure paint is clear and free of any defects (dirt, runs, missed areas, etc.)
Maintain chemical and supply inventory, ordering paint, additives, thinners, etc.
Provide color samples to Design and Sales.
Requirements to perform this job:
Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of NJ with clean driving record.
Have your own transportation.
Self-motivated/ Team Driven with the ability to manage time to get the work done.
Ability to:
o Lift up to 40-50 lbs.
o Ability to climb and work from ladders.
o Ability to work with minimal supervision.
o Able to set priorities and multi-task on a daily basis.
