Commercial/Industrial contractor seeking a highly motivated Fire extinguisher/Suppression System technician that wants to grow with our company. Prior experience is considered very valuable but not necessary. Knowledge of industry standards and practices also very helpful. Comprehensive training for serious candidates. Key Responsibilities
Inspection of portable fire extinguishers and pre-engineered systems in accordance with NFPA, local, and state codes
Maintenance of portable fire extinguishers including hydrostatic testing, 6 year maintenance, re-charging, and repairs
Perform testing, repairs, and replacement of exit and emergency lighting fixtures
Maintain stock of items required for inspections, repairs, and replacement inventory
Great customer service skills
Good communication skills
