Craft spirit beverage manufacturer and distributor located in Central NJ area looking for a Business Development Manager with alcoholic beverage product sales experience to join our growing business.

We are a full line manufacturer and self-distributor with over 10 alcohol beverage products such as premium craft cocktails, flavored vodka, specialty gin and flavored rum. Company is fully licensed, and brand registered with the State of New Jersey (and on Federal level of course). Products have received great feedback during various tasting events and have very distinct and attractive packaging.

Territory is wide open. From your city/town to the borders of the State of New Jersey, and more.

Seeking highly motivated and sales focused experienced individual with alcohol sales and distribution background with strong ability to sell and maintain existing accounts, open new customer accounts, do check collections and have knowledge of products when interacting with customers. Business development manager will put together and be responsible for a team of Brand Ambassadors to conduct tasting events at partner/client locations to further promote company products.

Former or current liquor store employees, people with sales experience from alcohol or other food and beverage distribution companies are welcomed.

Responsibilities:

Prospect and build relationships: Identify and connect with potential partners and clients in the industry (stores, restaurants/bars, venues) and adjacent industries, including weddings, corporate events, tour companies, and more.

Craft personalized solutions: Understand partner/client needs and suggest how our products can be best used for their needs, i.e. show your consultative expertise. (For example, you will need to show how our products match with their food selection or help with cocktail recipes.)

Close deals and exceed targets: Secure sales through compelling presentations, effective communication, and a relentless drive to exceed expectations.

Build lasting connections: Foster strong relationships with partners and clients, becoming a trusted advisor.

Contribute to team success: Collaborate with colleagues and leverage technology to optimize the sales process and achieve shared goals.

This is a performance-based role, offering uncapped earning potential based on your talent and drive.

This position may be combined with a Brand Ambassador role, which is a part-time hourly paid position for conducting consumer tasting events at partnering stores (2-3 hours on Friday or Sat, or both days.)
