We are a network of cannabis dispensaries looking for attentive and professional security guards to help maintain a secure and welcoming environment for our customers and staff. Offering competitive wages between $18 to $24 per hour, we have openings for both armed and unarmed security positions on a full-time and part-time basis. While knowledge of the cannabis industry is preferred, it is not a mandatory qualification for applicants.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and secure dispensary premises to prevent theft and ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations.
Manage access control, allowing entry only to authorized individuals in line with state laws.
Perform regular security patrols and checks, reporting any suspicious activities.
Assist with customer inquiries related to security procedures, providing excellent customer service.
Liaise with law enforcement as required, ensuring a collaborative approach to dispensary security.
Requirement for ALL Applicants:
Possession or willingness to obtain SORA certification as per New Jersey State Police requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Successful passing of a comprehensive background check and drug screening (cannabis excluded).
Physical fitness, with satisfactory vision and hearing.
Preferred CPR certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Requirements for Armed Guard Applicants:
Valid firearms permit and completion of additional background checks.
Proven proficiency in firearms handling and safety.
Experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
Qualifications:
Proactive and observant with a high attention to detail.
Experience in security, particularly in retail or regulated industries, is beneficial.
While familiarity with the cannabis industry is seen as an asset, it's not required for application.
