Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive care, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing top-notch service. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing oil changes, checking and refilling other vehicle fluids, inspecting vehicle components, and ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes and oil filter replacements.
- Check and refill other vehicle fluids (e.g., transmission, power steering, differential, windshield washer).
- Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades.
- Perform tire rotations and basic tire maintenance.
- Inspect vehicles for potential maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions customers may have.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive maintenance or as a lube technician is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
