OFFICE ASSISTANT
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in the metal supply industry as an office assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and helping us deliver top-notch service to our customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Answer, direct and make phone calls.
- Great customers and vendors.
- Maintain calendars, schedules and appointment books.
- Create, manage, and organize files, both physical and digital.
- Assist with data entry and bookkeeping; experience in QuickBooks a plus.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, projects and presentations.
- Learning products, and software.
- Organizing and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Receiving product and checking paperwork for accuracy.
- Check for missing product or any damages.
- Entering and printing labels to identify each product arriving so it shows the customer’s name, purchase order number, project name and arrival date.
- Gather paperwork and schedule for outgoing deliveries. Product should be a match to the delivery ticket for accuracy.
- Applicant must be computer savvy, has prior knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Gmail, QuickBooks and/or SAP.
- Applicant must be able to follow instructions but also be able to think independently when needed.
- Applicant must be detailed oriented and organized.
- Applicant must be punctual.
