We’re looking for a Sheet Metal Fabricator with at least 3 years’ experience in Metal Roofing Parts and Components.
Requirements:
3 years of experience working with metal sheets and coils (Required)
Must know but not limited how to fabricate metal coping, downspouts, elbows, leader heads, scupper, skylights, gutters, you’ll be required to fabricate a random piece as part of the hiring process (Required)
Must know how to operate the CNC Folder aka Metal Break to fabricate but not limited to metal trim, coping, etc. (Required)
Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications (Required)
Adhered to timeframes.
Must be able to lift to 20 KG up.
Ability to Safely Operate Forklift, certificate is a PLUS
Punctual and organized.
Available to work extended hours.
Bilingual English & Spanish is a PLUS
Responsibilities
Use of Manual and Power tools to fabricate metal trim.
Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in each project according to specifications.
Interpret trim and panels measurements meticulously and plan well to reduce waste.
Mark cutting and bending lines.
Set up Metalwork machinery, including but not limited to Rolls, Drills presses, flame cutters, brakes and shears.
Fabricate and construct metal panels and components.
Grind and Finish completed products.
Perform quality check on completed products.
Lift heavy materials and tools.
Follow all safety regulations.
Maintain records of all work orders.
Hourly compensation $26-$32 base on experience.
