SUMMARY
The Receiving Associate is responsible for completing the following duties in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and basic math skills and recording abilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Unload incoming freight.
Process incoming packages and log information on verification sheet.
Sample incoming raw materials using proper safety techniques.
Process MRO (non -inventory) receipts and distribute packages to appropriate departments.
Stock incoming material in designated areas; move materials within warehouse as instructed.
Adhere to standard operating procedures and department operating procedures. Keep work area organized and free of clutter and debris.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lb
Experience in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read and write in English
Basic math skills
Computer literate Microsoft office: Excel
