Looking to hire an Electrical Engineer for our manufacturing facility located in South Plainfield
The position is responsible for maintenance and improvements of all the electrical systems and controls used in our high-speed production facility. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems and power distribution. This role is crucial for ensuring production efficiency, product quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with high-speed converting equipment producing a high volume of
continuous product.
Motion control: PLC’s coordinate and synchronize the high-speed motion of various components, including feeding raw materials
like fluff, pulp, absorbent polymer, and non-woven fabric.
Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
Problem-solving abilities: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve complex issues and
implement effective control strategies
Provide expert support and troubleshooting for production line issues related to electrical components, machinery and controls.
Train maintenance technicians on the proper use, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment
Create and revise electrical drawings, schematics and layouts.
Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, wiring schematics, and electrical component integration
Select and specify appropriate electrical components and materials, considering factors like cost, availability, and performance
Required to respond to emails and phone calls from maintenance 24/7 to help them troubleshoot issues or connecting them with
the resources they need to do their job
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
Qualifications for the job
Require a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
At least 10 years of industry experience
Have an electrical background
