Architectural metal company is looking for an experienced field measurer.
Job requirements include:
Regularly going to active high rise construction jobsites in the New York metropolitan area
Access various unfinished areas via fixed and suspended scaffolding on buildings under construction
General geographical knowledge of Manhattan and surrounding boroughs
NYC 40 Hour SST Card will be required (company will provide)
30 Hour OSHA Certification (company will provide)
8-Hour Fall Prevention (company will provide)
2-Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness (company will provide)
20 Hours of Supported & Suspended Scaffold Training courses will be required (company will provide)
Basic AutoCAD architectural drafting skills preferred
Use of basic measuring equipment: tape measure, level, elevation laser
Jobsite safety equipment will be provided (helmet, vest, harness)
Be able to interpret architectural drawings
Knowledgeable in construction processes
Basic math skills
Previous experience in architectural metal, miscellaneous iron, or storefront work is preferred.
