Responsibilities:
Conduct 1:1 art classes for adults with disabilities, tailoring each session to individual skill levels and understanding of art.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
Provide personalized instruction, adapting teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
Collaborate with me and the clients parents to understand the goals of each participant.
Organize and showcase participants' artwork in exhibitions or events.
Bring and provide necessary art supplies for each session to ensure clients have the materials needed for a fulfilling art experience.
Requirements:
Previous experience teaching art to individuals with disabilities.
Educational credentials in Art Education or a related field.
Ability to conduct 1:1 sessions and tailor each class based on clients' unique skills and understanding of art.
Knowledge of adaptive teaching techniques and tools for diverse abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Must be okay with traveling to clients home
Must have reliable transportation
