Yard Worker / Driver – Stelton Lumber Co. (Piscataway, NJ)
Full-Time Position | $23.00 – $28.00 per hour | Monday–Friday, 7:15AM–4:30PM

We’re currently seeking a dependable Yard Worker / Driver to join our team. This hybrid role involves performing general yard and warehouse duties, assisting with deliveries, and operating company vehicles. You’ll share responsibilities with other yard staff and may not be driving every day, depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
-Load and unload materials at job sites and our facility
-Make deliveries and pick-ups in company vehicles (as assigned)
-Assist customers by verifying receipts and pulling materials
-Maintain yard organization and ensure efficient warehousing
-Handle property upkeep, including garbage removal, painting, landscaping, and general maintenance tasks
Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
-Should have working knowledge of moulding, doors, and/or lumber
-Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles
-Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (We do not accept ITTN numbers. We do not pay cash under the table.)
Additional Requirements:
-Forklift experience required (one of our forklifts is manual transmission)
-Ability to lift and carry 75+ lbs regularly
-DOT Health Card required to drive company vehicles (You may obtain this after starting)
-Experience with power tools preferred (e.g., chop saw, panel saw, table saw)
-Mechanical experience with vehicles is highly preferred
Spanish-speaking bilingual applicants preferred
Our Fleet:
-Ford F-250 Pickup
-18’ Box Truck
-20’ Manual Transmission Flatbed Dump Truck
-2 Forklifts (1 manual transmission)
Hours of Employment:
-Monday through Friday, 7:15AM – 4:30PM
-40–45 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits:
-Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour depending on experience level.
Benefits:
-After 6 months: 3 PTO Days + 3 Sick Days
-After 1 year: Additional 7 Vacation Days added
-10% Employee Discount after 6 months
