Night Shift Operations Manager & Lead Cleaner
Overview:
Presidential Cleaning is seeking a dedicated and versatile professional for a combined role that merges supervisory responsibilities with hands-on cleaning expertise. The successful candidate will oversee and execute high-standard cleaning operations during overnight shifts (10:00pm–6:00am). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both leadership and practical cleaning tasks, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight & Auditing:
Conduct site audits to ensure cleaning quality and compliance with company standards.
Report to management with regular updates on job performance and any operational issues.
Team Leadership & Training:
Supervise and mentor cleaning crews, providing on-the-job training to new and existing employees.
Foster a collaborative team environment to improve efficiency and performance.
Hands-On Cleaning Duties:
Execute cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Operate cleaning equipment, including walk-behind floor scrubbers, and manage waste disposal effectively.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times during shifts.
Inventory & Safety Management:
Oversee supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintaining inventory levels.
Enforce safety procedures and company policies, and promptly notify management of any damages or repairs needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
Prior supervisory or managerial experience is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
Must have a car to ensure reliable transportation between job sites.
Ability to work overnight shifts with occasional morning/daytime flexibility.
