Well-established, busy, family-owned locksmith company is looking for a motivated, responsible, and extremely organized locksmith apprentice; the right candidate should possess excellent customer relations skills and be very proficient at problem solving independently or with a team.
Previous experience not necessary; will train the right candidate, based on attitude and willingness to learn.
This position is to train a future field technician, to be trained in how to perform commercial and residential locksmith tasks such as: re-keying, master keying; installing doors, door frames, door hardware, panic hardware, and electric strikes; programming vehicle keys/Fobs; will also become familiar with automobile and truck locks and how they function.
In time, would be expected to work some Saturdays in our store, rotating Saturday hours with the other techs.
Clean driving record required and must be willing to submit to a background check.
Pay will be based on experience, skill, character, and attitude.
