Looking for a handyman to assist with repairs at multiple rental properties in NJ. Responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, from painting and troubleshooting to repairs and general maintenance. You will also assist with light plumbing and electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and occasional renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Conduct general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, and drywall repairs.
- Collaborate with renovation teams when needed.
- Travel between multiple properties in NJ, with possible occasional travel to PA or MD.
Qualifications:
- Experience and demonstrated working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices used in maintenance and repair tasks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address maintenance issues effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with other team members and contractors to accomplish tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset when interacting with tenants or residents.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Professional licenses a plus.
- Must possess a valid, active driver’s license without any major violations within the past 3 years, as you will be required to travel between multiple properties.
Job Type: Part-time, flexible 2-3 days per week
Pay: $25/hour
